Are these winds of change here in Phnom Penh? Or post-rainy season winds? Or could it be the subsonic winds of powerful basses, beats and loud guitars?

The town sees the arrival of a new breed of talented musicians. Ratatat from New York, USA and I Heart Hiroshima from Brisbane, Australia are in town this week and bring something rare to the city: lean and mean rhythms and up and coming garage rock.

Ratatat are only a duo, but having previously toured wih Daft Punk, Bjork or MGMT, boy do they know how to crank it up and rock out. I Heart Hiroshima are only a trio, but have a lot to say and say it loudly enough so everyone can hear!
