Our capital is blessed with many good places where to enjoy foreign culinary specialties. Some are definitely very exotic, and this one might be the most exotic of them all: Pyongyang — the only place in town where you can enjoy the often overlooked North-Korean cuisine!

There might be reasons why the People's Republic delicacies are not that common, and they are definitely not related to taste... Anything genuinely North-Korean can't possibly be just one part of the culture: you get the whole thing, this is how it works. Just like the PKR football players in the World Cup were said to receive live coaching by Kim-Jong-Il himself, you'll discover that waitresses in the Pyongyang restaurant are not only waitresses: they are also high-level students from good families, dancers, musicians, they work and sleep in the restaurant, never go out alone and some of them may even be spies...
